Autumn Forage, mushroom hunt and Lunch

Autumn is an exciting and abundant time to forage, with berries and mushrooms aplenty as well as enjoying the beautiful transition of the seasons, we'll explore the local area and enjoy a seasonal autumnal lunch. 

You will learn more about the amazing plants around you, safely identify, forage, and then feast on what you find. This is an informative and hands-on experience where you can explore, ask questions and then indulge in delicious foraged ingredients guided by experienced forager and chef, Rob.

There are so many delicious wild ingredients all around us that are free, abundant and packed full of nutrients, often more so than our supermarket greens but learning the names and properties of plants and trees will open up a whole new layer of appreciation to the natural world, deepening your connection and experience with nature, whilst adding some new ingredients to your everyday meals. 

WHAT'S YOU'LL BE DOING 

• Guided foraging walk around our site at Patty's Barn, this walk is all flat and includes woodland and coastal scenes
• We'll be looking at plant identification and plant properties and medical benefits.
• You'll be gathering ingredients on your forage that will be used as ingredients for your lunch or for you to take home
• We'll finish up with a delicious seasonal lunch and beverages in our rustic Out Barn
• You'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout and learn more about foraging and our unique location

• If you have a basket please bring this along otherwise we can lend you one for the forage
• Please bring a water bottle 
• Please wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the season.

All tickets are non-refundable. If you’re unable to make it the ticket can be transferred to a friend or family member.
