Coastal Litter Picking in Cockerham

Join us for our monthly litter pick. With the tide coming and going there is always plenty of litter to be collected from our beautiful coastline. Morecambe Bay is located on an SSSI (a Site of Special Scientific Interest) and with thousands of birds and wildlife that call our coastline home and/or come here to rest and nest throughout the seasons. Let's make it a healthy and clean place for them to come and thrive.

Important info

• We have limited pickers so please confirm your spot by RSVP'ing to ensure everyone has some picking equipment.
• If you have your own picking equipment please bring this along
• Please bring your own gloves
• You can stay for as little or as long as you wish.... any time you can share is welcome.
• Please remember to wrap up warm and wear your wellies or outdoor shoes. 

We often change meeting point locations to ensure we are covering as much ground. This will be communicated via email only if the location is not Patty's Barn and will be emailed no less than 24 hours ahead of the meet so please be sure to check.
