A day retreat where you will learn a simple meditation technique using an ancient sacred sound/ mantra.  You will leave the day able to develop a regular meditation practice that need only take 20 minutes a day without the need for apps or any external guide.

You will learn how to meditate, how meditation works, the process of release of patterns of tension, the path of transformation and changes that you may notice in your life.  You will learn of the many benefits of the practice including the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.  This sacred meditation practice is a Universal practice drawing upon age-old teachings from the East and West that is suitable for all, whether a regular meditator or never having meditated before.

Meditation will be taught whilst you lie in a comfortable position.

Karen is a both a yoga and meditation teacher who trained to teach meditation with Eliza and David Harrison of Sacred Meditation who founded the Dent Meditation Centre.  Eliza has been a meditation teacher all of her adult life and initially trained with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of Transcendental Meditation, before going on to continue her studies with other meditation masters. A regular meditator for 10 years, and continue to learn more from Eliza and David with regular intensives and exploration of other meditation practices. Karen is able to share her experience and offer support and inspiration to those wishing to develop a regular meditation practice.

The cost of the course is £100

Included in the investment is-

  1. The day retreat where you will learn how to meditate
  2.  A refresher session to be arranged at a later date to suit all to check in with how your practice is going and answer any questions
  3. An opportunity to sit in on future refresher sessions
  4. A vegetarian lunch will be provided and refreshments throughout the day
