Let the birds sing! Dawn Chorus & Breakfast

The early bird catches the worm, and also, the glorious sounds of our British birds at dawn. 

Join us on International Dawn Chorus Day with Seumus, who will guide a 2-hour walk and tune you into the magical and mesmerising sounds of birdsong. 

Waking at the crack of dawn to experience the chorus is truly a unique and rewarding experience, which we'll round up with a breakfast butty and warm drink.

Seumus is a local Ornithologist who has been enthralled by birds since childhood. This passion has been turned into a profession over the last twenty years. Even his spare time is occupied with birds, carrying out voluntary work for the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO). 

What you need to know/bring

• Binoculars if you have them
• Dress appropriately for the seasons, it's often cooler early in the mornings
• Please wear suitable footwear, the ground is uneven in some areas.
