Modern Watercolour Workshop hosted by Studio Gather

The workshop is for anyone craving a creative escape and would like to try their hand at modern watercolour painting. By ‘modern’ we mean, no realism, a more loose open relaxed approach to simple yet stunning art.

The 3 hours will consist of an introduction to watercolour painting and the wonderful alchemy that can be achieved from water and pigment. It will include basic tools knowledge and some guided brush skills to get you started, then we will practice some techniques, and explore the effects that can be created. We  will move on to choosing colours and a composition for your own piece, from the examples provided, that you will be able to recreate with your own personal spin.
