Welcome to the Great Outdoors. The Rewilding takes place at Patty's Barn, Lancaster. An inspiring site located on the edge of Morecambe Bay, with adjoining woodland and freshwater lakes. Free from work distractions and plenty of space to roam.
Hire Our Space
We use a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces and our location can be hired as a whole or on a pick and mix basis.
Prices start from £20 per hour, however, packages are bespoke dependant on your requirements. We have a preferred supplier list for catering however it is possible to provide your own.
The Shed
The Shed is a versatile space that can be used for events, meetings, workshops, wellness activities, retreats, making, creating… anything you can think of.
The space is bright and spacious yet can be made cosy and intimate. We’ve used reclaimed and foraged furniture and organic materials to create a beautiful space inspired by nature.
The Out Barn
An indoor, outdoor space ideal for BBQs, creative workshops, nature experiences, informal workshops and alfresco dining experiences.
You can have the fire going and are a short walk to the fields.
Patty's Barn, Accommodation
Stay in one of our 10 self-catering cottages during your stay. Each cottage is full of character and original features and is fully equipped with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay.
All cottages are tourist board 4-star rated and combined can sleep up to 54 people.
Camping Options
Various camping options, from tipi, bell tents to pitching up your own.
There are various spots around the site from open fields, lakeside to woodland camping.
Open Water
Wild Woodlands
There are three large ponds on site, two of those are 3-acre fishing lakes stocked with carp. All attract all kinds of wildlife throughout the seasons. Ideal for wild swimming, lakeside picnics and yoga.
Multiple woodland spots on-site, perfect for nature connection, forest bathing or taking a quiet moment whilst on retreat.
Higgeldy Piggeldy Games Room
Our games room is equipped with pool table, air hockey and table tennis, it's adjoined to The Shed by a barn door and this room can be used as overflow to create a much bigger event.
Fields & Open Space
Want to bring your own set up? Outdoor workshops, picnics, barefoot walks. We have plenty of fields and open space for you to use your imagination.
Airfield, Runway
Our site is home to Black Knights Parachute Centre and with that a 577 m runway. If you're looking to do location filming. Get in touch.

The Rewilding is centrally located in the UK, a 1-hour drive from Manchester, Cumbria and Yorkshire and a 10-minute drive from the historical city of Lancaster.
