Due to Covid-19 our in person meet ups have been put into hibernation for the time being but we can't wait to welcome you back soon and for you to join us at our spot in rural Lancashire on the beautiful rugged coastline of Morecambe Bay.

Human Rewilding

Consciously Restoring the Balance

We typically think about the word rewilding in an environmental context, to allow nature to be left to go back to its original, natural state. What happens when we begin to apply this same theory to humans?

We often find ourselves in constant pursuit of external ways to 'fix ourselves', seeking endlessly for the silver bullet to fix it all. In this often, frantic and endless quest we continue to dull our senses and natural instincts, and ultimately we forget, we already have all the answers.

Whoever you are and wherever you are, we humans have an instinctive desire to connect with nature and other living things. At The Rewilding, we explore connection with both nature and other humans, journeying backward, to older philosophies, where we evolved "as part of the planet and not apart from the planet."

Rewild Yourself Everyday

Integrating nature into your everyday life is easier than you think! Keep it simple and stay curious.

  • Walk barefoot in your garden or in the park

  • Connect to your senses; touch, smell, taste, see, listen

  • Bring the outside in

  • Eat seasonally and buy local produce where possible

  • Get outside everyday, if only for as little as 10 minutes

  • Leave your phone at home and look up at the workd around you
