Are you ready to rewild, reconnect and feast!
Autumn
Gather with us for a weekend of human rewilding, cooking over the fire, workshops, delicious autumnal food, nature connection, and community.
This weekend you can imagine yourself alfresco dining with the sweet smell of woodsmoke in the air whilst feasting by the fire with a group of like-minded others, there will be plenty of time for exploration and relaxation, foraging, workshops, hot tub dips, coastal walks and a weekend of creativity and connection in the great outdoors of rural Lancashire.
As we begin our preparations for the shorter days there is much to enjoy with the turn of this season. Bountiful hedgerows are full of forage and the time for mushroom hunting is upon us. Golden sunsets and falling leaves with crisp, fresh mornings.
We'll embrace the cosy vibes that autumn fills us with but we'll be spending plenty of time outdoors connecting with nature.
The Rewild Yourself Retreats are designed around community and connection, reminding us of the simplicity and pureness of joy we get from real-life human and nature connections. We need this now, more than we've ever needed it before.

Your Hosts
This extended wild food-inspired weekend has been a long time coming. Rob and I have been hosting wild food feasts, foraging walks, game butchery demos and bushcraft workshops for the past 3 years now, this weekend is all those things combined plus some added extras we've been waiting to include, and we are even more excited to be sharing this in our favourite food season of all... autumn! We have limited spots available, if you need more info please contact hello@the-rewilding.com directly.
Michelle, The Rewilding
Bringing people together over food and fire at tmy home is truly my happy place!
I’m fascinated with the concept of human rewilding, being part of a community and spending time in nature with my hands in the soil and learning about plants and wildlife.
I host in-person experiences because I can see before my eyes the threads of our society and what makes us humans slip away into a world of technology, globalisation and burnout. This new normal is making us sick and disconnected from each other and the natural world.
I believe we've overcomplicated everything and that actually it's all quite simple, and that's what this weekend is all about we'll light the fire, prepare some quality food, sit around the dining table, chat, re learn and have some good times.
Rob, Forage and Field
Rob is a lifelong forager and modern-day hunter-gatherer. who is passionate about ethically sourced, sustainable and wild ingredients. He loves to take inspiration from traditional cooking methods from all over the world and has honed the art of fire. Combining the more 'traditional' ingredients with foraged goods comes naturally to Rob and his knowledge of the medicinal properties, folklore and bushcraft serve for some excellent around-the-fire conversations and practical guidance which you'll enjoy throughout the weekend.
Ready to rewild your food philosophy
As a farming family, food is very important to us. We’re connected to the land around us and understand the hardworking efforts that go into the production of every mouthful.
Your meals have been thoughtfully curated and ingredients, carefully sourced, based on the season and the activities during retreat to ensure they provide the right fuel & nutrition needed to nourish and restore you during your time with us.
Our menus are about celebrating food, farming and British produce. About nourishing for our bodies in order to thrive and be healthy, about connecting with each other, passing and sharing dishes amongst the table, the enjoyment of the flavors, textures and creativity in experimenting with ingredients and having fun!
