The Untamed Feasts
& Wild Food Experiences

Immersive Dining Experiences

Come and gather with  us for a feast of the senses at one of our signature slow dining experiences. We collaborate with a variety of hand picked chefs to deliver menus that celebrate the taste of Lancashire and the British seasons with locality at the heart and inspiration and cooking methods drawn in from cultures around the world.

You can expect a seasonal beverage on arrival along with a warm northern welcome before being seated at our long banquet table to be served a variety of dishes (between 5 to 7) to pass and share over candlelight.

As a farming family we hold a strong sense of place and are very connected to the land around us, we use high welfare produce from nearby farmers and fishermen and gather wild and foraged ingredients to serve up a hyper-seasonal menu meaning you'll always have a one-of-a-kind dining experience, packed full of flavour.

Fascinated by the lost art of gathering, confused by the increasing disconnection to our food, disheartened by the bad rep in British agriculture and convinced that gathering in this way is fundamental to our overall human needs and essential in the quest to mend our relationship with each other and the land. We invite you to feast with us!

the menu

Like the seasons, every menu is one of a kind, meaning each feast you join us for will be a totally unique experience.

We offer a set menu that incorporates elements of game preparation, foraging, and traditional cooking methods with food prepared over the fire n an open kitchen. The menu is released at the time of the event, and you can check out previous sample menus here.

We use fresh, seasonal, wild food that has been sourced from farmers, fishermen and suppliers who are local or we know personally.

the

suppliers

We are surrounded by award-winning producers on our doorstep and we aim to incorporate this as much as possible.  Keeping food miles low and knowing suppliers personally, in our humble opinion makes the food even tastier. Check out the growing supplier's list right here.

However, the reality is, there are often limitations to aquiring all ingredients locally, i.e. lemons, spices and we do turn to some of our local supermarkets like Booths and Sainsburys, who have supply chain & ethics at their core.

the

chefs

We invite you to come and shake the hand that feeds you. We only work with chefs who share our food philosophy and ethos and love to celebrate the British countryside, wild, natural ingredients, and gathering and connecting with others over food and fire.

It's not so grim up north We are home to some of the country's finest chefs, just ask Michellin

the

table

We believe our feasts are an antidote to the lost art of gathering. We love nothing more than to bring people together, both friends and strangers alike to take a seat at our table for an intimate banquet.

You can expect a long table and dishes placed down to pass and share. This is a sensory experience, from the sweet-smelling smoke of birch bark to the and warm cosy feeling you get from the flicker of candlelight to the sweet sounds of chittter chatter amongst the table.

Rewild your food philosophy

Our Location

IMG_7843.JPG

Join us in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, turn off the main road and all the way to the end of the lane to find us on our spot of rugged coastline.

We're located on the edge of the Morecambe Bay Estuary, a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and the largest intertidal area in the UK. With this, we welcome over a quarter million migration and wading birds throughout the seasons with incredible views across the salt marshes toward the Irish Sea and out toward The Lake District.

There is lots to explore and we host our food experiences in the indoor and outdoor spaces across our site. From our private woodlands to rustic barns, there is plenty to keep on coming back for.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Oh what a weekend! I couldn't be happier to stumble upon this absolute gem of a place. The setting - coastal Lancashire with walks through pastures and woodland. The barn was the perfect spot for the evening's supper club. Where Forage and Field cooked on an open stone fire and we were treated to moreish wild cocktails. Beaming with northern hospitality. Prepare to be inspired and educated, while this foraging host offers creative workshops and creates dreamy table settings from the neighbouring wildlife, and under candle light, we feast. And what a feast it was! Michelle has an incredible knack of bringing people together and creating beautiful spaces to enjoy company, old and new, and feel part of a community that holds nature at the very heart.
