Terms & Conditions

These are the Terms and Conditions that will apply when making any booking with The Rewilding. If you have any questions please get in touch directly at hello@the-rewiliding.com 

MAKING A BOOKING & DEPOSITS

 

VENUE HIRE BOOKING TERMS

  1. On making a venue hire booking with The Rewilding, you accept the terms of these booking conditions.

  2. The dates for your venue hire are secured only when a 25% deposit of the total cost has been paid, after which full payment is required in line with the following conditions.

    1. 25% non-refundable deposit of the total balance on confirmation of booking  

    2. 50% deposit is required 90 days prior to the event

    3. 100% deposit: 30 days prior to the event

    4. If making your booking within 30 days from the start date, the full balance will be due

    5. Agreed extras: billed & paid within 14 days post-event

  3. A booking is accepted and becomes definite once you make a payment and we send you a confirmation email. Even after this initial confirmation, there may be changes to your booking. We reserve the right to make these changes

  4. .If the balance of your venue hire booking has not been paid in accordance with the booking terms listed above, the booking will be treated as canceled. 

  5. Changes and amendments to your booking can only be made by contacting The Rewilding directly at hello@the-rewilding.com or 07502726596.

 

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

We understand that unexpected events can arise that can affect your plans, please ensure you have read and agree to the terms of our cancellation policy.

Venue Hire & The Rewilding Multi-Day Retreats 

  1. If you cancel more than 60 days before the hire start date, you may request a partial refund (less a cancellation fee equal to the deposit).

  2. Cancellations within 45 days of the hire are fully earned, with no refund.

  3. In the very unlikely event we may need to cancel your booking, we reserve the right to do so and will do our very best to find you a suitable alternative or provide you with a full refund and we will have no further liability to you in relation to the cancellation.

  4. Full and partial payments may be transferred to another booking taking place within one calendar year if you notify us 90 days or more before the retreat start date.

  5. Any cancellations or changes must be notified in writing to hello@therewilding.com . We will let you know if the change is possible and will send you a confirmation email if the change is accepted.

Ticketed Events

This applies to all events, day retreats, workshops, or food experiences.

  1. If an event is canceled or postponed by The Rewilding, refunds will be made for the entire purchase

  2. Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund.

  3. Cancellations made less than 14 days are fully earned, with no refund.

  4. If you miss an event we cannot refund you

USE OF THE REWILDING AND PATTY’S BARN FACILITIES 

 

  1. Use of any of the gym or fitness equipment, areas or facilities available at The Rewilding and Patty’s Barn is entirely at your own risk. Induction sessions explaining how to safely and properly use the gym or fitness equipment can be made available upon request before using the facilities. You must not use any equipment or undertake any activity at The Rewilding unless you are satisfied that you are competent to do so in a safe and proper manner.

  2. When using any equipment and facilities available at The Rewilding, you must take care to safeguard your own health and safety and that of other people, and you will be solely responsible for any loss or injury that you cause to yourself, other persons or to the equipment or facilities to the extent that it is caused through your unsafe or improper use of the equipment or facilities (including your use of them whilst under the influence of alcohol or medication) or your failure to advise The Rewilding staff of a medical condition relevant to your use of the equipment or facility.

CONDITIONS OF VENUE HIRE

  1. The minimum hire period is 2 hours

  2. Hire starts and ends when the keys are exchanged, please be sure to account for any set-up and take down time

  3. Please leave the space as you found it

  4. All groups, individuals, organisations and sub contractors must have completed the necessary paperwork, risk assessments, insurance and medical forms and/or participation agreements for their guests.

  5. If you are hiring our venue for commercial purposes you must ensure have the necessary insurance, and liability cover for all activities taking place. 

  6. For evening hires, we operate an 11pm curfew

  7. Please ensure you have read our event sustainability policy when planning your event

CHECK IN, AND CHECK OUT

  1. For guests staying in Patty's Barn accommodation, check-in is from 4pm, and check-out is at 10 am unless agreed otherwise. 

  2. For venue hire the check in time to be agreed on a case-by-case event

  3. All evening events hold a 11pm curfew

 

DAMAGES 

 

We kindly ask that all guests respect the facilities at The Rewilding and Patty’s Barn. We understand that accidents can and do happen and in the event that there is any damage to the room(s) during your stay or if any items are missing from your room(s) upon your departure, we reserve the right to charge the card you have used to secure your booking a reasonable fee in respect of such damage and/or missing items.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

 

We will at times take photographs during retreats for our website and promotional material, including adverts. If you do not wish to be included in this please let a member of staff know about this on your arrival. 

CHILDREN 

Any children ( a person under the age of 16 years of age) on site must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 

Our property is located directly on the sea wall with incoming tides, there are various ponds, woodlands, and livestock, and we frequently use fire in our events. With this in mind guests must take full responsibility for the safety of their own children during their time spent at The Rewilding and Patty's Barn.

WOOD FIRED HOT TUB & COLD PLUNGER 

If you would like to use our wood-fired hot tub and cold water plunger you must contact Michelle on 07502726596 or hello@the-rewilding.com. Bookings are subject to availability and more information about how to book can be found here. 

​Information to all guests using these facilities:

  1. Guests should wear appropriate footwear around the hot tub aware and take care of any areas that become wet underfoot

  2. No glass under any circumstances should be used in or around the hot tub

  3. Please shower before entering the hot tub. Clean bodies = clean hot tub

  4. The hot tub is wood-fired, when adding fuel please ensure you do this safely and do not touch the hot metal surface

OPEN FIRES & FIRE PITS

There are dedicated areas onsite for fires, all fires should be accompanied at all times.

Firewood and firelighters can be purchased on site

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

  1. If your order is incorrect, damaged or has not arrived on time, please email us at hello@the-rewilding.com.
    Please include your order number, description of your problem and any photos you may have to help us help you. We will try to find a solution as soon as possible.

  2. Whether the gift box has arrived with you or at another person’s address, you must return the full gift box within 14 days.

  3. We do not accept returns for part of the gift box, all returns must be made in full, except where the item is incorrect or damaged.

  4. We must be given the opportunity to replace the items in the first instance. We will aim to replace your items as soon as we can, however if this is not possible we would offer a refund.

DELIVERY

  1. Our gift boxes are currently delivered in the UK only.  

  2. Deliveries are sent out via Royal Mail and gift boxes are despatched within 24 hours of ordering with a First Class service that aims to arrive the following day.  

  3. If a gift is required on a ‘Guaranteed On’ day, then we will send the gift on a tracked next day service to arrive on that day.

  4. If, for whatever reason, Royal Mail fails to make a delivery on a ‘Guaranteed On’ day we will refund the shipping, but will not be liable for any other costs incurred if we have successfully despatched the item the day before required delivery.
