Why your teams need this yesterday?
The impact of the pandemic and the heaviness of the world that we live is far reaching. The workplace has changed significallantly with the social norms we once took for granted; daily in-person office dynamics and everyday commutes to and from work becoiming a thing of the past. The result of this is a less productive and unwell workforce, contributing signicantly toward the global mental health epidemic we currently face. This consequence far outweighs any benefits of working from home.
"Mental health related absence is the most common cause of long-term sickness absence in UK workplaces. Work-related stress, depression or anxiety accounts for 44% of work-related ill health and 54% of working days lost." (CIPD)
We must remember that we are HUMAN and evolved as social animals within tribes. This cooperation is what enabled us to thrive and survive as a species. Humans outtside of the tribes were not so sucessful... you can fill in the blank.
Employees must adapt and take responsibility. Get your team 'out of the office' and into nature, connecting on a more meaningful level.
