About the Event
There is a lot we can learn from the nature that surrounds us. The headspace, clarity and creative we can foster when we intentionally choose to get outside in the fresh air and amongst nature.
Ancient indigenous communities from around the globe would take journeys of months into the wilderness as a rite of passage.
“Besides the obvious goal of the walkabout – to walk and survive, the student also has to devote his time to thinking and discovering himself.”
This gentle walk is a combination of connecting and learning from one another whilst connecting with our surroundings and getting a solid dollop of natural medicine. Nature connection, people connection and purpose connection.
Our brains were not designed for a constant stream of notifications, social media or constant stimulation. Our bodies, not designed to sit in a chair all day hunched over a screen.
“The walkabout is also an excellent time for self-evaluation and reflection. One can say that the walkabout is both a journey across the land and a journey of the mind.”
